Geneva's Story
Life
I have been married 27 years. I have 2 sons and one daughter. I also have 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
My oldest son just received his PhD in chemistry. My younger son is a police officer, and my daughter hasn't decided what she wants to be when he grows up. She and her 2 year old daughter live with me and my husband.
I also have two dogs.
I am currently working as a family nurse practitioner for the VA. I am also working on a doctorate degree in nursing.

I need to have chocolate, chocolate, and chocolate to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
Life is short. My oldest son always tells me I need to start thinking about retirement.
I have learned from my granddaughter to take the time to enjoy the day and have fun.
I have learned from my dogs that the little things in life are what make you happy. They love to have their bellies rubbed.
My current age is 47. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely wrong.
