Genevieve's Story
Life
My life . . . hmmm . . . Okay, I have been teaching HS English for 13 years in the Sacramento area at a wonderful school. I've been living in Sacramento since HS graduation. I really enjoy it here-- great weather, awesome friends, and most of my family has relocated to this area.
Unfortunately, my family is grieving from the loss of my brother Matt. He succumbed to brain cancer after a 14 year battle. We know he is looking out for us here and the rest of the family is trying to live by his tenets. So, I've gotten my act together and have lost over 40 lbs. since our last reunion. I feel so much better! My new "hobby" is the gym--but so is food, so to keep the food hobby I ...Expand for more

I love travel! I've been around and about Europe and I was going to take a little travel break, but I was accepted for an educational academy where I will be learning all about drama and the teaching of Shakespeare at the Globe Theater in London (summer 2008). I am very excited! The better part is that UC Davis/Mondavi Arts Center are paying my way! Cool (and nerdy), huh?
On top of the summer program, I have a goal to finally finish my master's degree since I put it off for so long. It shouldn't be too difficult. (note the bit of sarcasm here) Did I mention I will be teaching summer school as well. What a glutton for punishment!
