George's Story
Since graduating from F.H.S. in 1962, . . . I attended Berea College, Berea, Kentucky. Degree in History & Political Science. In March, 1965, I marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., in Selma and Montgomery. (Most impactful moments of my life!) Got an Assistantship in Literacy Journalism at Syracuse University, Newhouse Communication Center, Graduate School of Journalism. Assistantship led to my working with Dr. Frank C. (Thermochromatic T-Shirts). I married in the early 70's, but, alas, it only lasted about 3 years. I have a wonderful Daughter, Karen, who works for the State of Michigan. She and her family live a few blocks from me in Canton,MI.
