We have two grown children (a Son & a Daughter). Also, I have four beautiful granddaughters (Allison 12, Abigail 8, Olivia 7, Sophiea 4) My Son (Christopher) gives Radiation treatments to Cancer patients at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson. His wife Melanie has finished her studies and passed he State Boards and is a Registered Nurse and works at St. Johns Hospital in Anderson in the critical care unit. My Daughter ( Jennifer) is divorced and raising two daughters by herself and is Asststant Office mamager for Holeman Landscape, Architects & Contractors in Indianapolis. I am very proud of all my family and all of their accomplishments.
Since retiring I enjoy collecting Die Cast Cars and 50's and 60's memorabilia. In the summer I really enjoy going to all the car shows and taking pictures of all the beautiul cars. Also, I enjoy meeting new people from the varies townes that host the car shows and the people that show the cars. I really enjoy people. Update--I had my left knee replaced Dec.4,2006. My left leg feels so much better.
I have a booth 117 at The American Flea Market in Daleville, Indiana. You will never guess what my specialty is? "Cookie Jars" I just love colecting Cartoon Cookie Jars, Marlyn Monroe, James Dean, Ronald Mc Donald and all his friends. Of course I hav...Expand for more
e just as much fun selling them. I also have some Die Cast Cars and coke Cola collectables. My booth is right next to the stage where they have live music every Saturday and Sunday. I am always there from 9:00am until 6:00pm so come out and see me and my collection of "cookie jars" and listen to some great music for free. I am known as "The Cookie Jar King" since my last name is King and I have about 350 cookie jars. My very favorite thing is to talk to people and former students because I just love people.
Closed Flea Market my wife needed a right knee replacement and so did I. We both did and now I am trying to get well so I can start living again. I think that the knee replacement surgery is one that hurts and I don't recommend it to anybody. I miss the people at the Flea Market but there was really just no business.
Getting ready to go on Medicare and so far that has not been any fun either. You know this is suppose to be my "Golden Years" I sure wish they would start. I have had nothing but surgery's for the past 8 years so Dear Lored please let these "Golden Years" start very soon.......
