George's Story
George is a widower. His wife of 38+ years went home to the Lord in January 2016. Together they had 5 grown children, 18 grandchildren and 3 great grands. His schools include Central Catholic High School. He later attended Community College of Air Force (Aerospace Systems Operations). Currently he is pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies through New Orleans Southern Baptist Seminary extension at Eden Westside Baptist Church. He works(ed) at Eden Westside Baptist Church, Chick-Fil-A, United States Air Force.
George's interests include fishing, Hunting, Alabama Football, Bowling, College football, University of Alabama Athletics, West Virginia Mountaineers, I Love the Steelers. Music he likes includes Carlos Santana, Willie Nelson, Journey. Books he likes include Jesus as They Knew Him, Intimate Moments With the Savior, David a Man After God's Own Heart. Movies he likes include Risen, Woodlawn, War Room Fireproof the Movie, Facing the Giants the Movie, JOHN WAYNE and last but certainly not least Kung Fu Panda 1,2,3. TV shows he likes include CSI, NCIS, Law & Order, Castle..

since worked as a bail bondsman/bounty hunter-great money lousy attitude developer-,did some landscaping, sold some cars for a Pontiac dealer, worked as an electrician's helper traveling across four or five states, loaded freight and also was night dispatcher for Old Dominion Freight Lines, night manager for a forty lane bowling establishment, sales member and stock room manager for Lifeway Christian
Bookstore, was a medical equipment technician delivering everything from walkers to oxygen and other breathing
meds to home patients, and have been a manager in a Chick fil A restaurant from Oct 2008 to Jun 2013. Lifeway was a good job but, including my military service, nothing beats working for Chick fil A a company based on good old fashioned Christian values and American concepts of succeeding. In November 2000 my life changed in a drastic manner when I realized I really did not know the Savior I had proclaimed for 54 years. You may think me a "Jesus freak", and in some ways you would be right. I love the Lord, Jesus Christ, Who died on a cross for me
when I didn't deserve His sacrifice-nor did any one else!
I will serve Him forever, because He Loves me unconditionally. In the meantime, if you knew me before, please don't be afraid of me or resentful of me for who I have become. I still rejoice when I hear good things about any of you. .......
