George's Story

I left the area and went off to San Jose State College. After graduating, I took position as a roving elementary music teacher right at the height of California's school unification phase. lementary arena where I stayed until retirement in 2003. After retiring, I lost my wife of 44 years to cancer. I have since remarried. I live in Wrightwood, California, and enjoy the quiet and slower pace of the community. I still travel "down the hill" to visit my 96 year-old mother, and still do a lot of necessary business down the hill.
