George's Story
Life
My motorcycle got confiscated on the border between Argentina and Uruguay and I had to pay $1100 to get it back from the Argentine government. Then I got stuck in a blizzard riding over the Andes to Chile. The day I got to Santiago, Pinochet died, and there were riots and parties outside our apartment.

met her in Chile in 2004. We dated for three years, and then when she turned 18 and was able to leave the country, we got married and came here. I had to buy her mother a refrigerator to get permission to take Marcia out of Chile. Now we have six kids and one on the way. Many of them look like me. Some, I wonder about. I don't remember most of their names.
