Life I graduated from NCE (now NJIT) with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 69, from NYU with an MS in Meteorology in 70, and from Rutgers with a Ph.D. in Environmental Science in 74. I worked as an engineer for a government agency in New York City for four years before moving to Michigan to take a position as an Atmospheric Research Scientist with General Motors Research Laboratories. At GMR, I led a group of scientists that identified the environmental fate of emissions from GM's plants and products. We have contributed over 200 papers to the scientific literature. In 1993, I moved to corporate headquarters in Detroit and became the Principal Environmental Scientist for GM. Air pollution and climate change issues occupy most of my time.
