George's Story

Moved to Port Hueneme (Ventura County) to take an Aerospace Investment Casting Quality Control position in 1991. My fiance moved with me and we married the same year. Had our one and only child in '93 (Amber). Remarried in '05 to Sheila and have a place in Camarillo. It's still hard for me to look ...Expand for more
at the Camarillo High baseball field when I drive by everyday. Those scrubs knocked out our top ranked '76 baseball team. Still go to Pico every few months to see my Dad (Coach Butler). He's still out there going strong, playing tennis daily at 71. My mom passed away in '01 to pancreatic cancer at 63.
