George's Story
Life

Life is good! :) I'm a life long Steelers fan who married a beautiful former Miss Florida contestant on Leap Year Day 1992. 2008 will be our 4th quadriversary (since we only have an anniversary every 4 years) and we have two amazing kids.
I play guitar for a band called Opening Act and do a lot of community theatre, but much of my time is occupied with kid stuff (soccer, scouts, cheerleading, etc.)
School
School was great. I don't know why some people hated it so much. I loved to play football and still do, but one year of football at Cape was enough before switching to swim team. I think it had something to do with Coach Wicktor forfeiting our final game for us. He was quite the sportsman role model. TV Production was probably the best class I ever took. Nothing quite like doing a count down of shopping days till my birthday and getting overloaded with gifts, including stuffed animals, plenty of Dr. Pepper, a Bryan Adams cassette, and tickets to the Ratt concert. Thanks everybody!
Do you remember 32 flavors of popcorn at The Corn Popper in the Edison Mall? Yep, that was me behind the counter.
College
I continued my fun throughout the college y...Expand for more
ears at Troy State University (now simply Troy University). It was so much fun I went back to work on my master's degree, but "real life" got in the way with all the relocations (see "workplace"). I even stumbled across 2 Seahawks at TSU: Wendy Look and Beth Curry. College was full of parties, road trips, and concerts, but working a full-time AND a part-time job cut into them a little bit. I still managed to get into Alpha Lambda Delta honor society, to join Sigma Pi fraternity, and was on the Union Board (Student Board of Directors). Probably my most exciting story was running over myself with my own Jeep. Have I piqued your curiosity enough with that one for you to ask?
Workplace
I've worked in 7 states since 1997 - "Doing what?" you ask?
Well, I began in Alabama as an RPG programmer, salon manager (I handled retail sales training NOT a stylist - we all take crazy jobs after college), owning/operating 3 Subway restaurants, and teaching. Then to Florida to program again. Off to Massachusetts to do computer consulting. Next were Tennessee, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina with my current job as "XML Senior Consultant". Want more details? I have plenty of crazy stories.
