George's Story
Life
A short BIO: I moved from to Alabama to rejoin my father and brother in 1984 when I graduated from Eldorado. It was rough at first (living in Alabama!) but I ended up going to Auburn University and playing on the soccer team, so it was a lot of fun. I got my BA in psych and enlisted in the Army to be a mental health specialist. It has been very interesting. I worked on an inpatient ward for 3 years at Fort Bragg, NC. From there I went to Korea for a year and then Hawaii for 3 years (I loved it and also met my wife there) working in Division Mental Health. From there I moved back to Fort Bragg to work in the Social Work Dept and then at Walter Reed in DC doing the same thing. From there I deployed to Iraq for 6 months for the start of the war,...Expand for more
came back and then moved to Germany for a 3 year tour. I deployed to Afghanistan for all of 2005. I am on orders to move to San Antonio, Texas by 10 May 2007 to teach our medical specialty to new Soldiers. I have been in the Army almost 15 years! It will be nice to get back to the US.
I still love to ride motorcycles, fix up my 350Z, snowboard, play soccer, and play keyboards making music kind of like a mix of Enigma and Enya. Thats how I relax from the life I've chosen.
I hope to hear from Phil Mills, Doug Sottoway, and a girl I taught to ride my red Kawasaki GPz 550 motorcycle, who I think was named Michelle. My yearbooks have been lost in all my moving around the planet. So I cannot say for sure what her name was...Till then....Tad
