h grade prayers by bugging a priest to get me back in a church function after I'd been kicked out. This God hears my prayers! In high school there were great discussions about big God questions often fueled by a couple of beers. One day I saw someone's life radically changed by a decision to live his life for God rather than himself. I wanted that kind of life change for myself. I think God honors those kind of requests, people wanting something more than what they are experiencing, knowing that there is a purpose to life that goes beyond stuff and things, to real life, to relationships that count. I think this is what I have found, living beyond me, finding a purpose, recovering the essence of what I am here for. Becoming a follower of Jesus. It's not easy, but it feels right, feels like home.".
