Georgia's Story

Married- then in 1976 moved to Oregon and been here ever since. Had 5 wonderful children 3 boys and 2 girls, they now have families of their own... 9 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren all local, so I get to enjoy them often. My husband and I were pastors of a church for several years, I went back to school when I was 50 yrs old became an RN and I have worked the passed 18 yrs at Sacred Heart Hospital River Bend in Springfield Oregon. I'm a widow now, have done some traveling but still work part time. I miss living right on the "Beautiful Puget Sound" as I did when I was younger, but made sure I was close to the ocean (40...Expand for more
min. drive) because after all~ I have "saltwater in my veins!!" Well that's my story in a nutshell. Two of my sisters also married pastors and ministered for over 40 yrs. Just lost one of them the end of April this year..."Sunny" she had just published her book "Papa"-knowing God as Father - By Sonia Gray. She was a great writer and a "Dear-sincere" Christian. Her book can be found on Amazon.com. It's a good inspirational easy read. My other sister "Sue" and her husband Jann Butler still pastor a church "By His Word Christian Center" in Tacoma over off 99 and Aqua Duct East - where they have been pastors for over 30 yrs.
