My Spouse
My first husband, Harry Joe Major and I were married right out of high school, had two little boys, and were divorced a after seven years of marriage. The children and I moved to New Orleans where I have family, and have been living there ever since! I love the food here, but I still fondly remember the Mighty MO, Teen Twist Sandwich with Onion Rings, Hot Fudge Cake, Eddie Leonard's Tuna Fish sandwich, the Drive Ins, The Coral Theater, huge Maryland steamed crabs, Maryland Crab cakes, Rum Buns and Crab Imperial from The Flagship restaurant! I will have to add more memories when I think more about it! :)
I am happily celebrating my 25th Wedding Anniversary with my 2nd husband. He was my favorite customer at the Savings and Loan where I worked as the manager, many years ago. He is the Chief Engineer at Orleans Levee District and is responsible for closing the many...Expand for more
flood gates we have around the city to protect from flooding during hurricanes, etc.
I still love to cook, draw, paint, and face paint for my grandkids school functions. I am always getting fussed at by my family for not being a portrait artist full time! I love taking different art classes around the city of New Orleans. I have won Artist of the Month many times with my Art Guild, but don't enter often enough to please my family.
My Kids
I have two grown sons, Eric and Scott and an 18 year daughter Kimberly, going to college. I have one grandson and another on the way due in August 2001! One grandson from each of my sons. This noted dated 5-11-01

I now have three grandchildren! One from each of my children!
Two grandsons, Brendan (15 yr) and Sean (3 yr) from my two sons, and one grandaughter Isabella (7 mo.) from my married daughter who is now 22!
