After Central I worked for Coty Cosmetics for a few months before going to college in North Carolina. While in the South I was very active in the Civil Rights movement. Returned to New York worked for Pres. Carter's office of Urban Affairs for several years then became Director of the first women's shelter in Brklyn. Moved to Va. mained there working in outpatient Mental Health clinics for over 22 years. Returned to NY 12 years ago to develop housing for individuals with mental disabilities and Senior Citizens,Divorced in 2003. Watching my son interact with his High School and College friends I began to realize that void in my life now that I am here in NY, I spend too much time working.

Thanks to all who came out to light the community tree at Edgecombe Ave and 141 st. The children had a great time putting on their ornaments as future leaders of greatness. And Manhattanville coffee shop for hot chocolate.

This young 27 year old phenomenal man is mayor of Ithaca,New York. He is doing a great job so keep him on your radar. He is a fantastic human being.
