hi class, i've put out a lot of pictures without a story. Ready or not here it is in black and white. I left Nashville in 1970 to go to school to learn everything that goes on in an airport, after finishing the school i went to work with my dad on the pipeline in washington state. worked with him for 1 year, after that the draft was just going strong so i decided to join the Air Force before they got me. i was stationed at Travis Airforce Base in fairfield, california their i worked as an aircraft mechanic (C-5 Galaxy) was the plane of choice at that time. I spent 4 years at travis and then got out and ended up staying in california. at that time unemployment was at 8% and i took a job building motorhomes in vacaville, california. it was at that point in my career that airforce researves came a knockin' on my door. they needed air reserve technicians, right up my alley . this woulld allow me to travel the world. in 1982 i was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis to my surprise. i could not stay in the reserves any longer so i then started working in supply on base as a civilian. there i stayed but at that point in my MS i had to stop sky diving, so i bought in to R ranch which is in the wine country in napa valley.
