School
03/9/10 many good memories of school years. Elementary school at Davidson in San Bernardino, great carefree summers during those days. Girls in my memory are Cheryl Dean and Linda Coker, the Johnston sisters at square dancing saturdays at Arrowview. Went to Arrowview for Junior High(7-9th grade) in San Bernardino[long time ago]. Memory of junior high has faded, except for seeing my future bride Elaine Irick but too shy to talk to her then(still married 42 years this month). Liked playing hand ball, and gym class was favorite along with Mr Mathers algebra class. Ninth grade was football, with largest average front line, then came golf and on to San Bernardino High School.
High School was a lot of good memories, football games, basket ball games, halloween parties, late nights with Walter Ware. Good golf games with Ray Young and Dale Trisler. School dances were fun but still shy, I stood and watched, did go to the Prom with girl from First Pres Church Royce Rahn(where are you). Church youth group was great since that is where I interacted with my wife but still shy and didn't date. Demolay functions were fun and dances there were with Sandy Castleman a few times(where are you?). It seemed that High School ended before it should have, then on to college. One year at SBVC then I moved to San Jose area and went to Foothill Junior College for one year, then joined the Air Force in 1966.
