Gerald's Story
I've been hanging out in Texas for almost 20 years. George Strait says it best "All my Ex's leave in Texas." Been married once, best thing that came out of it were my two kids. Stacie is 16 and Steven is 10. When he was born I was 50, decided I better quite while I was a head. LOL They kept me going through some hard times after the divorce and I feel alot younger than 60. God, I'm 60........who would of thunk it. LOL When I think back about everything that has happened over the last 60 years I can't help wondering what the next 60 will bring. Next 60.....I'm either an optimist or nuts. Take your pick. Worked in IT and training for a number of years. Did some teaching and now I work for the Criminal Justice Department as a Parole Officer. Somedays get really interesting. Well that's about it for now.

usiness. Steven has followed in his Dad's foot steps and joined his high school swim team last year. The big difference is the boy has way more talent then his old man. Lettered in his first year, made district and regionals in the 500 free, 400 free relay, 200 free relay and 200 med relay. He is also the Senior Patrol Leader for his scout troop. Should be getting his Eagle rating sometime next year once he completes his service project. Plans on getting a degree in Engineering when goes to college. As for me, still working for TDCJ, plan on retiring in the fall of 2017 and then it's back to Michigan for me. Steven will be starting college in 2018 and both the kids can come see me up there. I have had enough of 110 degree summers. Everybody keeps saying how cold it will be but I tell them at least if it's cold I can add more clothes but down here I can only take so much off before getting arrested!
And at my age it ain't going to be pretty.LOL
