Attended Peckham, Jr. HS and graduated from Boy's Technical High School.
Joined the U.S.Marines the day after graduation in 1956. Did boot camp in San Diego, CA. Served in the First Marine Division, First Engineers at Camp Pendelton in California and Hawaii.
Back to Milwaukee 1959. Worked for Pepsi 1959, American Motors 1960-1965, Sold Life Insurance 1965-1968, Tended bar at Claude's on 35th St. 1966-68; Church Lay Associate for Lutheran Church, Board Of American Missions 1968-1970;
Married in 1968 to an Iowa girl Sandra Johnson from Clear Lake, IA; Drove cab and did security work 1970-1971; Attended MATC (Milwaukee Area Technical College) 1969-1971 Photography & AA Degree. Moved to Washington State 1971, attended Western Washington State College in Bellingham, WA.
Graduated 1973 with a BA in Graphic arts. Moved back to Milwaukee 1973. Ken Cook printing company 1973-1978; Wedding Photography for Joe Crivello Studios 1969-1971,1973-1978; Started own Photography Business 1978-1984, over 500 weddings and other photographic endeavors;
1979 Sandra and I adopted our first boy (Ryan) and in 1984 our second boy (Eric); Also, in 1984 started the Herbalife Business and stopped selling one of the greatest nutritional programs in 2004;
The boys and I did paper routes at Luther Manor Nursing Home in the 90's and had a lot of fun working together (sometimes). They learned to work and satisfy the customer over and over;
1999 had a pacemaker and a defibrillator implanted in the chest; 2000-2001 telemarketer;

Church and Chapel 2001, Met people I hadn't seen for years.
Feb 22.2002 total knee replacement right leg. Doing well.
Also, rejoined the Badger Marine Corps League in 2002 and I am now doing burial detail with the rifle team giving fellow veterans, his or her proper, acknowledgment.
September 2005, replacement of defibrillator/pacemaker and added a third wire in the heart to help both chambers fire in sync.
Present time, 2009 doing death certificates for Church & Chapel Funeral Services. Also, volunteer at Luther Manor Nursing Home making over 500 bags of popcorn every Wed. morning with other volunteers. Received the 500 hour volunteer award in 2007.

Marine Reserves 1955; UMSC JUNE OF 1956; Marine Corps recruit Depot, San Diego, Platoon 3011; Camp Pendleton, Calif.
1st Engineers 1st Marines at Camp Telega, last camp from main base at Camp Pendelton. Kauai,Hawaii, 30 days for the filming of South Pacific with Mizi Ganor, war games and a free boat ride thanks to the USA. 7 Marines where with me. Sgt. Frazer was in charge being the bad guys. Fought 2 forest fires while at Camp Pendleton and had surgery on right knee at the Navy Hospital main side in 1958 from maneuvers. Discharged 1959
Now belong to the Marine Corps League #348 in Milwaukee, WI.
