Gerard's Story

Probably it's no surprise to my classmates that I went on to a successful career as an illustrator/cartoonist. I always liked to draw and I mostly did freelance magazine illustration in the NY market for about 25 years. These days(since around '99) I've been working at staff art positions of one sort or another, mainly for the bennies and a regular paycheck, two things that were utterly foreign to me for my entire freelance career. veral years wrote novels. She's working on an epic story about her Cherokee roots. She's a blue-eyed blonde, but she was born and raised in Oklahoma, where pretty much everyone has some Indian blood regardless of how they look. She is currently getting a lot of notice for her "Broken Heart Land" trilogy of plays. We live in Westchester, right on the Hudson River, and have been here for most of the last 25 years. We tried a move to North Carolina from 2004-2006, but it really wasn't our style. We were fortunate enough to be able to move back to our little town in Westchester, where we both feel we really belong!
