As a matter of fact I was an Open Door exchange student from Santiago, Chile who had the very wonderful opportunity to join CHS ( Catskill High School)from Dec. 1968 to Mar.1969 and share excellent experiences with my classmates,fellow-companions, teachers, friends and specially with the family Jenkins and my brother David who hosted and cared about me for these months.At that time I was hoping to go back to the States and to Catskill as soon as possible, mainly to keep in touch with all my new acquire...Expand for more
d friends and salso to go to the Woodstock rock festival which woould take and took place in August in the Catskill mountain area.
Since the scholar year in Chile is from March to December I couldn´t be present at that time or be back in the States for a long while.In March of 1970 I started college and then time and space to travel was even scarcer.The nostalgia for Catskill and friends kept growing ,only alleviated by letters.After a while , let´s say two more years contact faded and got lost..................
