My Spouse
Ask me.
My Pets
I have always loved animals. Presently I have four well-behaved cats, four cages of finches and tropical fish. In November 2007 I acquired an eight-week old smart and beautiful Golden Retriever pup. He is learning fast.
My Kids
I have two children, a son, Andy, who is now fifty-three years old and daughter, Michelle, now fifty-seven years old. Both are happily married. My beautiful, talented almost thirty year old granddaughter has blessed us with Elsa, my delightful great granddaughter, born April 19, 2006. A happier, smarter child I have never seen.
I moved to Metro Atlanta twenty seven years ago and I am blessed to live within minutes of all of my dear ones in a wonderful house in Lawrenceville, just northeast of the city.
My Job
Until July 1, 2006 I ran the statewide nonprofit writers organization, Georgia Writers Association, that I founde...Expand for more
d in 1994. I served as executive director for that time, the president for one more year and now I'm off and doing other fun things. I turned the administration of the organization over to Kennesaw State University.
Both my brothers, Barry and Robert have passed away and so have my parents. I was my mother's caregiver until she passed away peacefully on October 15, 2005. She was ninety-two.
I have now started my own online business, an educational service for writers. It is called In The Company of Writers and if you run it all together and add dot com you can see it on the web.
I am also teaching my Everyone Has A Story Life-Writing course in several places around the greater Atlanta area.
If you remember Charlotte Glick (Marcus) and Ann Broad (Bussell), we're still friends. Charlotte lives here in Atlanta and Ann is in Coral Gables.
Best to all for 2009 and beyond...
