Gerri's Story
Life
I am the proud parent of two very active boys. They're 14 (Jan 08') and 10 (March 08). Between the two of them it's a wonder I get anything done. They play basketball, soccer, football, and race motorcycles. We played baseball for 4 years but the pace was just too slow for them. I also have two puppies. A chihuahua and a poodle/chihuahua mix.
I always wanted to be a Psychaiatrist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea idea. As it turns out, they were right.
I'm a HUGE Dallas Cowboy fan. I LOVE football. As for Basketball I'm a Laker girl. I'm not a bandwagon type person either. I loved them when they had the real dream team. Magic Johnson. (My obsession). I don't watch that much TV because I don't have time but when I do, I enjoy Bones, House, Sunset ...Expand for more
Tan, (I don't know why!), and So you think you can Dance and the discovery channel. Oh and of course American Idol.
I've learned from my kids that life is truly wonderful. I've developed more patience, love, and acts of selflessness since they were born. Everyone is beautiful and good until they show their ugly side.
My current age is 30 something. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old as dirt and boring. I was so completely WRONG.
I always knew I wanted to have a family early but also a career. I have the family and am close to the career. I'm in school to become a Clinical Psychologist.
My current job has been very rewarding. I'm a technical recruiter. I've been in the top 5% in the nation for generating revenue for the past 4 years. I'm going to miss this place.
