Gerry's Story
After 20 years with the Virginia Department of Health as a Senior Environmental Healt Specialist and Epidemiologist I retired and went to work with the American Red Cross and worked with the military overseas for 10 years until I could not pass the combat physical in 2016. Been retired since but work part time to keep from going insane. One of my greatest regrets is not being able to spend my Senior year with All of you. arly and thank you for thinking of me. My retirement allowed me to finish the restoration of my 1979 MGB. Photo attached. It was so much fun but took two and a half years to complete. Everyone needs a hobby. What are ya'lls? Currently living in Columbia SC with one of my sons of which I have two. There 39 and 41 now so it's time for them to take care of me. Not that I need it but they worry about me being old. I think they just missed having me around since I was overseas for so long. Maybe more later. Best wishes to all. Gerry
