Working as an independent engineer. Have worked on telephone dialers, mini computers, variety of memory chips (some in ZIP drives of the 90's), printer cartridge chips, data configuration storage stuff, book binding, was "IT" (information technology) a lot. retail sporting goods associate, school bus driver, school janitor, ... and a few more. You all have thrown a lot of my work away as spent commodities.
All of my four daughters were married. They gave me seven wonderful grand kids: 3 girls, and 4 boys.
Have lived in FDR (West Germany), Washington, Georgia, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Massachusetts and South Dakota. Visited, at least for a couple of hours, most the continental states. Pulled a 24' trailer 6,000 miles from Colorado, to Houston-TX, Jacksonville-FL, up to up-stream NY (including doing the George Washington bridge into NY City at 5:00 in the evening), back across the Great Lakes to Chicago, (again doing Chicago during ru...Expand for more
sh hour), to just NE of Minneapolis-MN, across SD to the Black Hills, down through Cheyenne-WY, and home to Colorado Springs:... just to visit kids and grand-kids. And to celebrate the end of a year, my former wife's successful battle with "C". (I was laid off/involuntary-retirement, so had the time to spare).
Had a stroke some years back,... lost a taste-bud. It was tough,... tried to put an office swivel chair together and the screw-driver kept falling out of my hand. My head knew what to do, but my body just did not cooperate. Felt like someone had given me a shot of Novocaine from foot-to-head on one side of my body. So I went to the ER. Was held captive in the hospital for a couple of days. They put me in the big magnetic doughnut, that hammers louder than a JD tractor. God was good to me. As I said, lost a taste-bud after everything settle down.
Was rear-ended,... lost short term memory.
Was told there was a heart-attack in my past by one of my Dr,... I sure didn't know anything about it.
