o appreciate my time at Middlebury. My favorite class was Student Revolution, the most important was Asian History. My Midd education kept me out of the draft and out of the war until senior year, when I was mature enough to be a draft resister. Person who I wonder about and have not heard from . . . Diana Durham. Give a donation to the school if you can, they do a good job. I hope old friends remember me as a caring and interesting person. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were close. Retirement is a garden that needs tending. When I get stressed or don't like something, I just need to remember that I don't have to do that anymore. I like to rock in a chair that has been in my wife's family and came to us last year. My parents are my heroes.
