Gianna's Story

What's happened since high school? Hmmm...a lot! I've had good times and bad times==mostly good. I went to Cal state Long beach and graduated with a Liberal Arts degree=in English (option in Creative Writing) and then decided to get an English Credential and then started working with at-risk kids in a program called ACCESS and during that time, my principal recommended that I get a Special Ed. my level 1 credential in 2005. And haven't been back to school since but miss it, but I do work in a school every day :) Well, right now I'm on vacation but back to work soon! I'm also in an international volunteer group and have travelled to 3 countries to serve and connect with kids and adults in developing nations and have been nominated for a peace award through the Violence Prevention center of Orange County. I've met some great friends and am happy to be alive.
