I'm sorry that I've missed our reunion. I sure wanted to attend, however work commitments made it non-attainable.Lets see where to start. After high school I entered the Air Force. I traveled a bit being I was a Flight Engineer on C-5 and C141. I travel world wide. Austraila was the best for me. Phillipines was not to my likeing too hot. I sent 20 years and two wifes in the Air Force. I sometimes miss the Air Force. After the Air Force I decided I needed to go back to school. I completed an AA Degree in Environmental Tech. I enjoyed the work; However work is done on contract basis. I didn't like being unemployed from contract to contract. I still had the traveling bug. So I decided to get my CDL to drive Trucks across country. I enjoyed that but I miss my girlfriend much too much. So last year she also got her CDL and we ran cross country. me seeing so many sunrise and sunsets. Driving thru Gettysburg or Driving across the George Washington Bridge in New York. Viewing the dusty cloud where World Trade Center use to be. Seeing the Oklahomea City memorial.Boston was cute but not truck friendly. Driving the Lewis and Clark trails. Seeing the beautiful skies of Montana. Spending the night in Dodge City with cattle to boot. Being in Liberal Kansas Seeing Dorothy and Toedoo too(sic). Seeing the Columbia River in Oregon. Seeing where Sitting Bull Wack Custer. Now There's justice.
All this in two years. But I did pay a heavy price for all this enjoyment. In Nov 25 2001 while in Tulsa OK. I suffered a Heart Attack. Oh I'm OK now I just travel a little slower now, and not too far away from home.
You all be good to each other. Relish each minute of each day. We only have our alloted amounts.
