Gina's Story
Life
Hi, All!!
From 1st to 8th grade, I attended Our Lady Help of Christians school.
I was very active in softball, cheerleading and bowling. Times were wonderful at OLHC...when I graduated, I decided to leave the confines of my very cozy neighborhood school and go to Edward R. Murrow High School, certainly a new world for me.
I LOVED being a Murrow student! I miss everything about it.
I had wonderful teachers, made amazing friends, and took great classes.
What I most enjoyed was being a part of the Players Circle, as well as being in Murrow Med and Astronomy.
After graduating in 1991, I went to Pace University in NYC. I majored in Early Childhood Develop...Expand for more
ment, and graduated in January, 1996.
I am a teacher. From 1996-99, I taught at P.S.203 in Brooklyn. I also taught in NJ in a wonderful program -KINDERGARTEN EXTENSION, from 2001-early 2005. I just LOVE teaching the little ones!
While attending Pace, I met my husband, Thomas (a fellow student). We were married in July, 1999, and lived in Central NJ until July, 2007. We now live in CT.
On January 26, 2005, I gave birth to my son, Thomas Joseph...and I love being a mommy!! He is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me...such a blessing (although I am thoroughly exhausted)!
I want to thank everyone at Murrow for making my experience so special. :)
