Gina's Story
Hi Everyone, I hope your all doing well and enjoying life. What can I tell you? I went to nursing school out of high school and I am currently working in the field and love it most of the time minus the politics. I worked for Social Services for 20 years being an adovocate for those who could help themselves due medical or mental illness. Some of it was very sad but if i could make just one person smile and feel better about themselves it worked for me.
I got married and divorced. I grew up he didn't. We had one child, a girl who is now 19 and in college. She is my world even though she is now on her own and attending college. She was blessed with athletic abilities that her mom wasn't. I was a personal trainer and worked for World and Gold's Gym during my college yrs. blast! My daughter learned how to work out as well at 12 and that's something we both can share together. She was able to letter in academics and sports and in the State we live in she was able to get scholarships for college. (which helps these days!) I've had a good life and I am more outspoken these days compared to high school. There have also been hard times as well, I lost my father to cancer when he was 63, which is a loss I don't think I'll ever get over. My mother survived cancer and then it was my turn this last year but I made it as well. I guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, which has been very true my whole life.... Alot of you touched my life in very different ways and gave me stories to share with my daughter to get her through high school.... Please feel free to say hi.
