Life Hi, Well, those who thought I would make a great Police Officer would be glad to know that I'm a Fire Inspector with the City of Vaughan. I started out as a dispatcher, telling 150 guys what to do and where to go, then in 1990 transferred over to Fire Prevention. That's where I've been for the last, OMG!...27 years. I've attained Acting Captain status, but that still doesn't mean I get to call the shots, just more work! I married Terry O'Flanagan in 1984 and had a daughter, Jennifer, in 1992. Yeah, spitting image and attitude to boot! Terry left me sometime between 2000 and 2005, it's a long story but I found my new love, John Genys in late 2005, totally by accident. We had a dog, but that went with Terry as I didn't have time to care for it and Jennifer was a typical teenager, wanted one but not the work. I went back to school for my job as an Inspector, Seneca College and received two certificates. I'm the first certified Fire Inspector in the Province by the Ontario Fire College and am recognized by the Professional Standards Setting Board.....whatever... I saw my first ever rock concert in 2005 - Green Day of all things and now have a much younger look on life. It's helped a great deal with many things, such as the karate I took for 9 years. The divorce caused many changes and karate was the one thing that help ground me. I was working on my black belt in Okinawan Goju Ryu style of karate, but as life dictates, depression caused me to back away from some things.
