Ginger's Story
Ginger is from Birmingham, Alabama. After graduating from Vestavia Hills High School, she attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, graduating magna cum laude with honors in the Accountancy program. After earning her C.P.A. while working for Arthur Young & Associates, Ginger went on to serve in the small and emerging businesses department of Price Waterhouse until leaving to manage her own C.P.A. practice. When husband John was transferred to Cleveland in 1994, she began volunteering with Christian ministries in the area, including serving as a founding board member and administrator for a private Christian elementary school. summa cum laude. While living in Chicago, she provided primarily pro bono business consulting for non-profit organizations. After retiring, Ginger and her husband returned to her hometown of Birmingham. She and husband John currently reside in Greystone during the winter/spring months and reside in the Cleveland suburbs during the summer and fall.
Ginger has been married since 1986 to John Edwards, a retired business executive. They have two adult children, Dave and Kate. Dave and his wife, Jacqui, have a son, Garrett and live in Cleveland. Kate resides in New York City.
