Ginny's Story

After high school I joined the Navy and spent four years in Virginia Beach, Virginia. There I met my husband; we came back to California to marry and soon he had orders to Hawaii where I joined him when my enlistment expired. I started college and while I was a student we had our two sons. I earned a degree in Industrial Engineering after we were posted...Expand for more
in San Diego where my husband retired from the Navy. I worked for many years as a Manufacturing Engineer in electronics assembly in San Diego. After the boys were grown, I was able to retire. We recently relocated in my husband's home state of Florida. After my folks divorced, my dad married classmate George Varella's mom - making us step siblings.
