Ginny's Story
Life
After college at BYU in Utah, my husband Bruce and I moved to Tacoma, Washington where Bruce taught in the Tacoma School Dist. We have five children, three boys and two girls and 19 grandchildren. Our oldest son, Jeff, and family live in Idaho Falls. Our daughter, Holly, and family live in the Seattle area, our third son, Brad, with his family live in Forest Grove, Oregon, our other daughter, Suzy and family live in Highland, Utah and our youngest son, Hans, and family live in Phoenix.
I have taught piano lessons 27 years and plan on doing so for a few more years. Bruce is an elementary PE specialist with a National Coaching License in soccer. I mention this because of his soccer experience and training, in 1980, Bruce and I started doing youth soccer tours to various parts of the world. ormed just for the travel abroad experience. We have a website, but it is pretty lame at this point in time. You know how it is when you do it yourself? Our international travel has been a great blessing as well as broadening our perspective on life.
Bruce recently retired from teaching and so we are getting used to having so much time together. We like to hike and walk and the Puget Sound Region gives us lots of opportunities. I must confess, I have to get an occassional cortizone shot in my heel to go on these walks and Bruce hobbles along with an off and on again back ailment. We are well and healthy and enjoy our lives at this point in time...now that we can get free drinks at Taco Bell and can hang out with the grandkids. I would love to hear from any of my old 'Bulldog' buddies. I've always felt that growing up in Ririe was a GOOD thing. I never could figure out though why our drill team, the Rhythmettes, had to march behind all the horse posses in the 24th of July parade - a real character building experience. I would love to hear from you....so please drop a line.
