Right after Central I went to work for the phone company and worked there until I married my husand, Bob. He was in the Navy so I left Mississippi for Mayport, Florida. and did not move back home until July of 1987 when Bob retired from the Navy. We moved around so much that I didn't go back to work until our girls were both in junior high. Also, with Bob being gone so much we decided it was better for me to be home with the girls so they didn't have to come home to an empty house or day care when they came from school. While Bob was in the Navy we were stationed in Florida, South Carolina (twice), California, Illinois, Washington, New Mexico, Hawaii where we spent the last six years of his Navy career. I spent the first three years "stalking" Tom Selleck, but then decided to get a real job. I went to work for the Department of Defense. When we returned to Mississippi in 1987 I went to work for everyone's "favorite" government agency, the IRS.
