Life Born 2/9/56. Glenn Bailia to Raymond and Vivian Bailia. Always dabbled in electronics for Father was a TV & radio repairman. Mom was a activist in church and choir. 3 sisters. Becky the youngest, Norma my 1 year apart twin and Terry the oldest in the family. Went to Algonquin Elementary School till 69 then to Blackhawk middle school in Park Forest, Illinois. Grad in 1969. At Blackhawk Ele. I was taught to dive under the desk, tuck in my head to my a..., and kiss the world goodbye during the Cuban Missile Crisis and cried when they shot JFK. Moved to Park Ridge, Illinois in the mid 1970's. Lived at Edison Park Home for boys on Canfield Ave. in Edison Park for 2.5 Years with some of the wildest guys ya want to know, [ the young discovery years] but all Gems. Put myself through High school for the remain of years till 1974 while living in a sleeping room in Des Plaines, Ill. Made a living before and after school making, delivering and running sometime a pizza place at Toughy and Canfield roads called Tab's Pizza. Missed Viet Nam by 3 month's. at Classification 1H. Almost graduated from Main South High School at 3 months to go with a 3.8 GPA if not for a disagreement with a mob figure in the area of Chicago. ...Expand for more
