Glen's Story
So much to tell, in so little space. After high school I took a job in a guitar store in Oakland. Some of you may remember that I was a musician in school and played in a couple of local rock bands. So the job was a natural for me. After a few years I moved to Napa, the town of my birth, and residence for the first 9 years of my life. There I met my future wife. Together we managed to raise two daughters and a son, who are all doing extremely well. After more than 10 years of commuting in ever growing traffic I decided to leave the store in Oakland and go to work for a large winery in Napa Valley, as a cellar rat and machine processing/operator. d my own music business building banjos and acoustic guitars. One of my life long passions. Five years later I got one of those offers too good to pass up and sold my property for a good profit and ceased production. A smart move in retrospect. After a year or so I got bored and had to find something to do, so I became a school bus driver here in Napa.
We should never loose sight of our early dreams. To this day I still play music. In fact I am doing so well at it that I now consider myself a professional musician (with a day job). It took 30 plus years to finally realize my dream to play music as a profession. I hope all who read this will continue to work for their dream. The one you had all those years ago, if you haven't already found it.
