Glen's Story

After high school, joined national guard.Worked on ranch in Texas for awhile. Moved to Silver City, worked in contrushion. Job ended, worked with Utility Tower Co. out of OKC. Almost lost a finger at 1600 ft high on KBIM tower in Roswell. Moved back to Carlsbad. Rumor guard unit going to Nam, Joined U.S.Navy. went to Nam 2 times. Stationed in Philapinnes,Cubi NAS for 2 yrs.Made last flight by a US plane into Saigon in 1975. Got Married. Returned to US. While in Navy had 2 girls, got divorced. Retired 1989, moved back to Carlsbad. Meet love of my life,...Expand for more
got married again. Worked at Caverns for 3 yrs. Helen(wife) lost job at Carlsbad Medical Center. Moved to Hawley Texas in 1994. Helen worked at Hendrick hospital until retiring in 2012. I started a house repair Small contrustion company. Retired again in Jan 2014. Now I only do 1-2 day jobs. Start working as maintance person for our church 2 days a wk. Helen & I haved Joined the Volenteer Christain Builders, And go on missiom projects to help build churches and camps. We like to take cruies to Cribrib, Hawaii, And Alaska. Like to hear from youall.
