Life
Still alive & kicking at 56, I didn't think I'd last this long. I've been happily married and happily divorced twice. I'm now enjoying the single life and keeping busy training for running events and triathlons, which have been my passion for the last few years.
1/2022 - It's been 17 years since I've updated this post. A lot has happened in the intervening years. 10 years ago, I got married for the 3rd time (3rd times the charm!). 16 years ago, I met my soulmate, Bert, and we've been together ever since.
Our prolific kids have greatly increased our family size. In addition to our 6 kids, we have 26 grandchildre...Expand for more
n and 10 great grandchildren. Which makes it impossible for us to really spoil any one grandchild or great grandchild, which was fun when there was only a few of them. We try to be fair to all of them and enjoy being able to see them occasionally recently after almost 2 years of remote contact only.
I'm still running, and I'm entered in the 2022 Boston Marathon, hopefully, Covid won't screw that up again. I was supposed to do the 2019 BM, but eventually it was canceled. I did the virtual, but it definitely wasn't the same as the real thing.
Oh well, that's enough for now. Maybe I'll post more in another 17 years....
