Glenda's Story
Life
I was born and raised in Buffalo living on Millicent Avenue in the Kensington section until I married in 1963 and moved to the country where I am still. Fortunatly I married my very best friend and we have been married now for 41 years. Don and I have 3 children .. 2 girls and a boy and 2 Grandchildren .. Lindsay and Isaac. They are the joy of our lives. We enjoy camping and have a fifth wheel camper just now that brings us many nice times away. All of our kids live close by so we see each other often. I have always been a stay at home Mom and wife and really enjoy that privilage. Don and I live quiet lives and are very much involved in our church. Hopefully...Expand for more
in less than 2 years Don can retire and we can have even more time together. Often I think about my school days and wonder about classmates. One keeps me advised of deaths etc when he sees them in the paper. Hard to believe school was 43 years ago now. Being a Gramma is the high light of my life at this point in time. I babysit often and get totally exhausted trying to keep up but what a joy that is. Guess you could say I am very family oriented ..they are my treasures. I have no family in the Buffalo area any longer so do not get there anymore. I love my country life .. could not go back to city living now. Life has been good and I am very thankful.
