Glenda's Story
Hi everyone.....can't believe how long it has been. I have been married to an amazing guy for 25 years. My husband, Tony, is the Commercial Account Manager for Hercules Tire and travels both US and abroad. I work for the Olathe School District (Olathe East High School) as their Systems Operator. We have two children, Anthony 21 and Ashley 19.
Anthony is a Junior at KU studying Kinesiology and hoping to work for a pharmaceutical company as a consultant. He was on a soccer scholarship but had a career ending injury which never let him step foot on the college field. He is not bitter but does wish at times he could be playing. niverisity of Nebraska and loves it there. We spend quite a bit of time traveling to watch her college team play. She is getting her degree in Special Education but hopes to be coaching a college team after she graduates.
We have traveled the country over the past 15 years with soccer and softball....making most of those trips into our family vacation. As soon as both kids are done with school, we will take a family vacation that doesn't require a pre-set playing schedule, washing of uniforms, and making sure we have all of the equipment. For now.....empty nesting and having your kids come back for a Holiday visit....doesn't get any better than that.
