Glenda's Story

I am a School Nurse in Big Spring, TX. I have been in the nursing field for 34 years with 26 years in the school system. I am actually eligible for retirement anytime after January 2009. I have 1 grandson and 1 grandaughter from my daughter, and another grandchild that will be born in February 2009 from my son and his wife. My husband and I enjoy playing golf and visiting with our grandchildren. As of May 2012 I am officially a retired School Nurse from Big Spring ISD. l hospital and for Howard College. I chose my days to teach and the times. Retirement is really wonderful. My husband and I are planning a long road trip to Delaware. I am so looking forward to it. We now have 5 grandchildren 2 girls and 3 boys. As of June 2013 I am working part time at Howard College in Big Spring taking on all aspects of CPR training there along with teaching new instructors and I still teach CPR to Healthcare providers and any other person who wishes to learn the skills. I love and believe in what I do.
