Glenda's Story
Life
Hello everyone. Well I appreciate you stopping by to read a little about me and seeing what I have been up to all of my adult life. I have remained in the Yuba/Sutter areas since graduating from LHS. I was previously married for over two decades, but have been single and divorced since 2004/2006.
I furthered my education at Yuba College taking business/business management classes, and criminal justice classes while working fulltime. I am semi-retired from Law Enforcement after 31 years with the same law enforcement agency. I now work part time for a different Law Enforcement agency, and have racked up a total of a 35-year career in my chosen field. It’s starting to get a little rough out there on us, and I’m not getting any younger, so my sights are set in a full retirement within the next few years.
I have one beautiful daughter, and four fantastic grandkids.
I love to fish in the local rivers and the lake at Little Grass Vallley. I enjoyed riding on the trails around Little Grass Valley Lake until they placed so many restrictions in that area, can't ride out of the camping area so the tree huggers spoiled that spot. Other favorites include Stoney Ford, Sly Creek, the Gold Fields...Expand for more
, Forrest Hill, Cisco Grove, Oceano Dunes and the OHV park at Hollister Hills. For those of you that are into riding, Hollister is a lot of fun, if you haven't been there yet I would recomend it. Its pretty dirty there, no organized camping; everyone just makes their own spaces and there are no hookups there. So if you plan on going take plenty of supplies. As of about 2015 I gave up quad and dirt bike riding in exchange to going back to my lifelong passion of “four-legged riding”, yep, I’m deep into horses once again. I no longer compete, I just thoroughly enjoy trail riding throughout some of the most beautiful places in California. I deeply desire to go on a real cattle drive way off the grid for a few weeks, but that’s probably a desire I’ll take to my grave.
Well enough said about me and my life. What have you been up to? You must be a little curious about me or you wouldn't have read this long bios?
Drop me a line, I've kind of drifted away from all of those that I attended school with, not that I was really active and in the "click" during 4-years of high school, but I would enjoy hearing from you.
Stay safe and remember; "If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours".
