Glenda's Story
Life
Lord, where do you start wtih 31 yrs. of someone's past? I married Donald Weldon Witherspoon Jr. in June of 1975. We had our daughter Gina Renee' Witherspoon in Jan. of 1977. Donnie went into the service from High School and spent a little over 26 yrs. in there. Now he is working for the VA Hospital in Dallas. Has lived in Red Oak, Texas for over 20 yrs. Myself on the other had really haven't done much to talk about. Donnie and I divorced in 1978. Got remarried in 1983 and that didn't last long 3 yrs. Got remarried again and that lasted for 10 yrs. until he passed away in 1996. Meet a wonderful man named Nick Alzono from Corsicana and we were together for 2yrs. 8ms and 21 days until his passing, which came as a shock to me. Then we lost my younger sister Lois Ivie in 2000. me of her passing. He had been sick for a few months with a cold the Dr.s said, but when we put him in the hospital 3 days later he was gone from my life and I was lost with out him. Then almost a year later I meet a man and 2 yrs. later we got married in 2002 and moved to Cedar Creek Lake area and been there ever since. My husband drives a BIG truck and goes all over the place. Kinda nice to have some space to myself when he is gone. I haven't worked since 01, cause he doesn't want me to and I am not one to fuss over that.
Bobby and I have 5 dogs, 1 cat, 1 McCaw Bird and a fish tank. My days are pretty much taken up with their care and we have an acre of land that with all this rain we have been having is a job in itself.
So, now I guess I have cover a few years for everyone and hope to hear from more of you also?
