Glenda S's Story
Life
Following graduation from OMSH, I continued to work at Gray Drug Fair, Inc. and attended Towson State University, where I rec'd my degree in Secondary English Education. I taught for four months, as a long-term sub, at Dundalk Senior High, while still working at Drug Fair (where I quickly ascended to Asst. Manager). I began working for the gov't in 1986, where I am still employed as a Sr. Program Analyst.
My father passed away...Expand for more
after a very short illness on July 7, 2007. He and I were co-caretakers for my mother who has undergone a below-the-knee amputation on her r leg and is wheelchair bound. At this time, I'm juggling work and caretaking to ensure my mother gets to her numerous doctor's appointments, including dialysis, 3x week. It has been a very rough 4-5 years, but I thank God for His grace and mercy because without it, I couldn't keep up this pace.
