I thought I would update my profile as my life has changed drastically in the last two months. On February 9th I turned the dreaded big 5-0 and on Frebruary 11th my husband Don passed away. He had been diagnosed in mid October with Bone and Lung Cancer and was already in Stage 4. He went through Radiation and 3 of his 4 scheduled Chemotherapy treatments. He was suffering so much pain from the Bone cancer my head tells me his passing was a blessing because he is no longer in pain, but my heart tells me that there is a hole been torn in my life that I don't think will ever be filled again. I miss him so much, we only has 11 years together. Not long enough. I have a daughter, Lexy who is 28. She has a wonderful husband, Eugene and they have blessed me with two wonderful grandsons. Garrett will be 8 in July and Gavin is turning 2 this month....Expand for more
I also have a stepdaughter Heather(also 28). Through her I have 3 more grandchildren, Kendra 9, Wyatt, 10, and George 12. They all call me Gigi. I'm having a little trouble getting my bearings right now with what I want to do with my life. I'm disabled so I can't work and that leaves a lot of hours to fill. But the plan is to pull myself up by my bootstraps and carry on with my life. I live in a 99 year old home that we have filled with antiques but still kept it family friendly and livable. Of course in an old place like this there is always something that needs attention or just a little tweaking. I love to make some connections with old school friends that I haven't talked to in years, so if you visit my profile please leave me a message and let me know what you've been up to.
