Glendyr's Story
I am happily married to the same man for 37 years now. We have one girl(Kamala) and two boys (Joshua and Aaron). My daughter has 2 children and my oldest son has one on the way.
We live in Baltimore on a waterfront home. Al my children live within 15 miles of us.
I moved from Clear Creek to Virginia to MD in my senior year of high school. While in Va I started the first dancing drill team in the State, and as a result when my parent moved to MD - I stayed in Virginia until the football season was over. So I gained a Jewish family that took me in. I am blessed to have two families!!!
I met my husband Jan in MD and got married after I graduated from Stephens College with a fine art degree. Spontaneously, I agreed to marry him on 3 conditions ( we move to Texas, he buy me a horse and I dont do the laundry) It was agreed and we did.
First we moved to Houston and lived in Katy, then we were transferred to Dallas and lived in Southlake. At that time I was raising, breaking and training horses - It was a great time.
I also went back to college and became a CPA.

treets of Fort Worth. Dont ask me how, but I had a Heaven and Hell experience while walking to may car. My parents were professed athiests - I had no "religious" training. Even my closest friend, Marcia Mullens,(who had accepted the Lord in her life) would not dare to share the Lord with me. (And her mother-in-law put me at the top of her prayer list for 5 years after talking to me at her wedding for only 10 minutes). I must have been a case! I was very opinionated and arrogant, and thought "christians were weak people and only needed a crutch". I changed so drastically and instantly that my husband ended up receiving Jesus in about 6 weeks after me.
I never knew that we could actually have a relationship with God, and we could fellowship with Him. And that He speaks to us today. Wow did our life change!!
But he spoke to us to move back to Baltimore. It was hard for me, because I love Texas so much. But as a result of our obedience, My husbands brother and both of my parents were able to accept Jesus also, before they passed away.
So, We are still here. I hope to see many of you at the reunion. I do plan to come. Hope to see you all.
