74, Registered for Saddleback but Guter, Ide and I decided we needed a ski season off of school so with Chris (now Booth) Lidke and Tony Mardians help, we moved to Mammoth for the 74-75 season. The three of us lived in a one bedroom condo. Tom had the living room. I shared the bedroom with Chris. Dangerous to say the least. We all worked at Mill City and skied our asses off every day. The stories go on and on.......... 75, Ide decided he needed to go to college. He moved back and Grimes moved in. We upped to a 2 bedroom and loft. Grimes was the freshman so he got the loft. Sandy Johnson moved up to be with Chris but being a good catholic girl wouldn't move in with him so lived with a roommate in another condo. Same drill for all of us. Mill City at night, Ski all day. 76 Chris decides he needs to go to school. That lasted until Sept. When the Allsop binding rep offered him a "Tech Rep" job. I'd planned to be there anyway so I hooked up with the Kneissl, Garmont, Geze rep.
