Glenn's Story
Life
The condensed version -- After high school, I went to Texas A&M on an Army scholarship. Got married at the end of my "senior" year, had a year and a half left. Graduated from A&M, went back to school at Ft. Belvoir, VA to learn how to be a Combat Engineer officer, and finally made it to my first unit in Germany (Karlsruhe - 565th Engr Bn). up working at a refinery in Corpus Christi, but it wasn't enough to help the marriage. In 1989 I got divorced, my mother passed away from cancer, I married one of my high school sweethearts, Faydale Bowman, and lost my father to a stroke. What an interesting year. Much better in following years, and a third child to liven things up. A corporate merger ended my career with the refinery, so now I'm working for a government contractor doing a wide variety of interesting things.
