Glenn's Story
Life
(May 2016) Moved into a new house last Sept. Soon after, my sister and sister-in-law moved up from Mexico to live here as well. Soon, my youngest daughter will come live with us and we'll be a little family unit. Been through a few engines on my Gyrocopter, but I just finished 2.5 years of modifications that should make it more reliable. Still spending the bulk of my free time on that. Still inspecting pipelines and still riding a bit, although no long road trips with the brothers anymore.
(August 2014) Still working the pipeline job. I'm on the road a lot. I started flying gyrocopters in 2010. That's pretty much been the focus of my free time for the last few years. Look me up on YouTube. I still have the motorcycle and a boat that rarely get used. But that'll come back around.
(June 17, 2009) I graduated from ITT in December 2005. Got my Associates Degree and promptly stuck it in a drawer. 2 months later I got a job that I love. I do pipeline inspections using Magnetic Flux Leaka...Expand for more
ge tools and Deformation tools. These tools go by the industry name of "smart pigs" The job has me traveling around the country more than half the time. I even spent a month up in Canada. I'm getting to see a lot of stuff I'd never have seen otherwise. And getting paid for it.
Still single...13 years now. I had a girlfriend for a minute. Apparently she wasn't the right one. I hope there's one out there somewhere that is. Meanwhile, being alone isn't killing me.
I went on a 2800 mile motorcycle ride with my brother, Chuck, in May '06. It was absolutely awesome. We had so much fun. Then he came to SLC in May '07 and we rode around northern Utah for 3 days. Even had my daughter, Erin, along with us on that one. Our (all 3 of us)ride in '08 was down to San Diego then east to the Grand Canyon and the crater. Then north to southern Utah for all the canyons there. Great ride. As I write this I am 14 days from our '09 ride to Glacier National park and Yellowstone. This is going to be incredible.
